With looks that could launch a thousand ships, Venus Williams is also serving up relationship rumors! The former world number one recently attended Prada’s summer 2025 menswear show during Milan Fashion Week. While her outfit was definitely the highlight of the event, it was Reilly Opelka‘s appearance by her side that grabbed all the attention, leaving tennis fans speechless.

The 43-year-old turned heads from the front row as she made a bold statement in shiny silver shoes with a high shine from an Italian designer brand. The shoes featured 2 to 3-inch block heels, mirrored uppers, and unique triangular toes embellished in bright silver. Williams added a hint of preppy elegance to her wardrobe by matching her striking boots with long argyle socks in green and cream. Interestingly, Opelka wore the same style, just in red, cream, and black/ dark brown.

Venus Williams took to her X handle to share some insights on the fashionable outing. However, along with her solo photo, she also posted another picture sitting with Opelka, with whom she has been rumored to be in a relationship. In addition, the caption read, “Stunning show @Prada🤍 #PradaSS25.” 

Williams and Opelka have been spotted together often both on and off the court, which has fans wondering if they are dating. Opelka’s constant flurry of comments on the older Williams sister’s post often attract attention as well, inclusing the latest famous one when she posted her Met Gala look last month, which shows the ATP player admiring her. But Venus put an end to the relationship rumors in her Instagram story once, when they had gained momentum in 2021. She utilized a “Questions” sticker to interact with supporters, answering openly. “Are you and Reilly dating?” inquired one follower.

Venus shot back, succinctly and humorously, saying, “No @ReillyOpelka shot me down.” The rumors were put to rest by her direct reaction, which also informed and entertained her admirers about their friendship. But now the rumors are up once again, as their recent appearance together raise similar question in the minds of tennis fans.

Tennis fans speculate about Opelka and Venus Williams’ relationship

Looking into the post, a lot of tennis fans came forward to share their concerns about whether they were in a relationship or not. A fan vented out their frustration over the 7-time Grand Slam champion roaming with the young American rather than focusing on her tennis, “She really went to a prada show with op*lka instead of playing Birmingham.” 

While she is dealing with several injuries and having wildcard participation every now and then, Venus Williams is lately spotted more on the red carpets of fashion shows than on the court.

In the same way, another fan shared his annoying reaction, “here she go again with Opelka…….” While neither of them have confirmed their relationship for a few years now, they have been constantly supporting each other, giving fuel to the fire.
