However, recently in an exclusive interview with Essentially Sports, her former coach, Sascha Bajin, explains what her comeback could look like.
Earlier this year, in January, the 25-year-old tennis player announced her pregnancy to the world. And shared that she will be out of the WTA circuit for this year and will bounce back into the tennis world next year, that is in 2024.

The former German tennis player has worked for a good amount of time with the Japanese tennis player. And played a big role in her achieving her Grand Slam victories. In a recent interview, he talked about the four-time Grand Slam champion’s comeback into the tennis world. Moreover, he also answered the question which is there in every tennis fans’ mind – Will she be able to bounce back as a champion after becoming a mother?
He said, “I do always want to think that she has the ability to bounce back. It’s gonna take a lot of work but she’s still young. The way I see her and also the way she’s gifted with her body and her shots. She’s very fast around the court. So, I definitely think if she gets the right people around her to help her make, she dedicates as much as she can of besides being her mother, everything else into tennis, then I do want to give her a chance.”

However, the 38-year-old tennis coach believed that if she gives her 100% to the sport even after becoming a mother, she can continue to achieve some big milestones on the tennis courts. However, he is not the only one who is positive about the 25-year-old tennis star’s comeback after becoming a mother.
Chris Evert feels optimistic about Osaka’s comeback
Last month, in an interview with Eurosport, the 18-time Grand Slam champion explained how motherhood will only make the 25-year-old tennis player stronger.
