Serena Williams is out to take Kendall Jenner’s job! The American tennis legend has perfectly transitioned into a model, taking her love of incorporating fashion into her on-court outfits to off-court ventures. After all, the first athlete to win the Council of Fashion Designers of America’s Fashion Icon award has to be a special someone! Now appearing in the fashion capital of the world with her sister, Williams’ recent stunt at the Vogue World 2024 has wowed American tennis stars Coco Gauff, and Reilly Opelka.

Updating her followers about her whereabouts and her day, Williams posted her walk at the Paris Fashion Week. She captioned the post, “💙 it’s a #VogueWorld#ParisFashionWeek @venuswilliams.” Moreover, she was not alone as her elder sister was a special invitee too! And the two set the Vogue World on fire. In the video, the Wyn Beauty founder casually yet fashionably walks around the world created by Vogue, with models dressed as ball girls following her lead.

Her ease with the crowd and the fashion left fans gobsmacked, and the current World No.2 liked her post. While Opelka found himself in the comments section, applauding the former World No.1. He commented, “Oh…🔥🔥🔥👏.” It seems Williams’ performance has rendered Opelka speechless! But might we suspect it was the older Williams sister and not the younger one who had that effect on him?

Reilly Opelka and Venus Williams’ non-romance has been well documented – while the two often shared pictures of themselves together at events or tennis practice, fans speculated a romance brewing. But Venus busted the theories with a simple ‘He shot me down’ text when a fan asked it on a Q/A session on Instagram. Nevertheless, the rumors have persisted.

Meanwhile, the younger Williams is also setting teh stage on fire – it’s not a black swan event that Williams happens to be ready for. The 23-time Grand Slam champion was all set for the Vogue world when she asked for help from her fans. But stopped short of revealing her ‘gym’ goal. And the next moment fans see her, Williams is all decked up for Vogue. It’s not the first time that Williams has lighted hearts and the fashion week. And certainly not the last time, too. But the tennis star still misses her time on the court.

Serena Williams’s longing for a tennis court explained by Alexandra Stevenson

Williams has opened up about her love for tennis and longing to step back into the circuit many times. The American tennis legend bid adieu to expand her family. But in a recent article, Williams opened up about her family and various ventures. But many times Williams too looks back into the past to see how far she has traveled.

Stevenson elaborated on Williams’ confession about missing tennis. She said, “Because even though she has all this stuff, and all these companies, she really misses tennis. And so that part of her that misses the practice and the training and everything that was relatable to every professional tennis player that stops playing, because it’s like a piece of you that’s been there forever. And then what do you do with that?” There is no substitution for the missing piece of the puzzle, according to Serena’s ex-rival.

Vogue tried their best to contribute to Serena’s wish to return to tennis, by bringingvo the sport to her. However, the tennis star has her daughters burn all the extra energy. And fans certainly hope that either one of the little girls, if not both, would take up after their mother’s legacy!
