The best time of the year for many is finally here again. Tennis players are prepared to cap off their 2022 campaign with a fantastical holiday finale. The tennis world is finally engulfed by joy at the conclusion of a fantastic year filled with highs and lows. Coco Gauff, Martina Navratilova and her wife, Caroline Wozniacki, and Victoria Azarenka were among the many tennis stars to wish their fans and the world a Merry Christmas. 

Tennis players from all over the world are currently celebrating this holiday season at home with their loved ones. Additionally, many WTA players gave their fans some insight into their holiday celebrations. Interestingly, they began commemorating the festival in diverse ways. 

WTA family spreads Christmas joy with fans

Christmas greetings have a lot to say to tennis fans. The 18-year-old Coco Gauff posted a video of herself dancing with Santa while accompanied by her family on her Instagram story. She said, “My Uncle is the best, GO SANTA GO,” in her post telling the tale. Not only that, but she also posted her tennis coach’s Christmas greeting. 

Julia Lemigova, the wife of Martina Navratilova, shared about how she is celebrating Christmas away from the city lights and in the countryside. With her farm animals, she managed to set up her own Manger. Victoria Azarenka also uploaded a photo of her family’s Christmas Eve supper table. Demonstrating how much she is enjoying her time with them. and acknowledged her mother as the artist. She wrote, “My mom did such a beautiful job decorating and cooking.”

In addition to them, Caroline Wozniacki, who won the 2018 Australian Open and ended her tennis career in 2020, also uploaded a photo of her second child James dressed as Santa Claus. The tiny Santa looked extremely adorable as her mother tried to take a great photo, and she added the caption, “Santa came early this year.

Maria Sharapova also provided a glimpse of her first Christmas with her newborn child, in which he was seen playing with the Christmas tree ornaments. Following this, an early ATP greeting also came all the way from Spain to cheer up tennis fans and wish them a very Merry Christmas. 

Rafael Nadal’s Christmas greeting

The Nadal Academy family and Rafael Nadal’s fans received Christmas wishes from the 22-time Grand Slam champion. The Rafael Nadal Academy posted a video of the Spaniard in which he began by wishing everyone a Merry Christmas, and wished everyone luck for the upcoming year.
