One such person is none other than the American tennis legend, Serena Williams who was inspired by the Spanish tennis legend himself while naming her beloved pet dog, Christopher ‘Chip’ Rafael Nadal.

Adding to the list of celebrities choosing Nadal as their pet name, is Canadian orchestra conductor and pianist Yannick Nezet Seguin. He paid tribute to the tennis legend by naming his beloved pet after Rafa.

Serena Williams has made her bias for the Spanish tennis legend known time and again. However, the most iconic move was when she named her Yorkshire Terrier, Christopher “Chip” Rafael Nadal.

Now, following in her footsteps, Canadian Music Director and Pianist, Yannik Nezet Seguin, has named his pet after Rafael Nadal too. However, this time it is not a dog. It is a cat who has had the privilege of bearing the same name as the Spanish tennis legend.

The iconic music director is the man behind three famous orchestras. These are Philadelphia, Montreal, and the Metropolitan Opera in New York City.

The infamous bickering of the Williams sisters that hit the headlines recently also included Rafael Nadal. Serena Williams visited her sister Venus and explored her gym. It led to some hilarious accusations.

Through her TikTok, she shared all the things that Venus had stolen from her. This included her gym balls, her towels with Serena’s initials on them, and even her dog, who is named after Rafael Nadal.
