One couple which fans adore is Elina Svitolina and Gael Monfils. The tennis couple have given fans several heartwarming moments, and they recently gave their followers another reason to adore them.

While the current moment is a lighthearted one, they also have moments when the two are focusing on tennis. As the Ukrainian prepared to play Aryna Sabalenka in the French Open quarterfinal, Monfils hyped up his wife prior to the match. The moment was heartwarming, but the current one captures fans due to a different reason.

Elina Svitolina aims to make Gael Monfils relent

Taking a short break after Wimbledon ended, the husband-wife tennis duo is back in the thick of the sport. Although they practice tennis night and day, they entertain themselves with the help of the sport too. While the training sessions are much more intense, their moments playing the sport together are much more lighthearted and hilarious.

They recently showed such a moment when Svitolina said she could hit five consecutive aces on Monfils, albeit from the service line. They exchanged slight banter as Svitolina served. After five attempts, the Ukrainian player was only able to manage one ace as she couldn’t surpass Monfils’ athletic ability.

During the French Open, Svitolina made a comeback to her prior form as she got ready to play the quarterfinal. Svitolina did not have an easy match-up as she was going to play against Aryna Sabalenka. Prior to the match, Svitolina was warming up before she got her game face ready. Sitting by her side and giving her advice for the match was her husband, Gael Monfils.
