Alex de Minaur, like millions around the world, has a particular tendency in the shower. The Aussie player likes to sing as if no one is around to hear him. Unbeknownst to him, his girlfriend is in earshot and catches his singing performances often. In a cheeky comment, Boulter talked about Minaur’s habit, and further revealed his choice of songs. 

A tennis fan recently shared two screenshots of the adorable Alex de Minaur and Katie Boulter. In the first screenshot, Minaur sat with a blackboard in his hand, where he wrote questions about his tattoos and his language skills.

Minaur also answered a question about singing in the shower, to which he said, “I don’t really sing in the shower.” Boulter was there to fact-check the Aussie, as she commented, “Don’t lie to the people. I’ve heard I’m a Barbie girl a couple times.” 

This tennis power couple has shown adorable banter to fans, and have shared impressive victories this year. While Boulter bagged the Nottingham Open crown by defeating Karolina Pliskova by 4-6, 6-3, 6-2, her boyfriend fought against Sebastian Korda well to receive the trophy for the s’Hertogenbosch tournament.

Last year, the couple revealed their initial meeting and the beginning of their relationship in an interview with Tatler Magazine. Katie Boulter revealed how she and Minaur initially shared simple “hi, bye” terms until the Australian ATP star asked her out for a coffee. Referring to their strong bond after three years, Boulter said, “That was the end for me. We’re on the same wavelength when it comes to our priorities, tennis is where we want to be and the rest will follow.”  

Their relationship has only grown stronger as adorable banters happen often. While they didn’t officially announce their romantic union, the British WTA star’s Instagram post in March 2021 sealed their relationship. “Not sure how you’ve put up with me this long 🥴 Happy one year 🤪,” wrote Boulter, sharing a picture of her with Minaur.

The relationship between Boulter and Minaur has only grown stronger over the years. In fact, Boulter’s faith in Minaur makes her certain he is the only thing she requires when stranded on an island.

After her win in the San Diego Open, a reporter shared a hypothetical scenario with Katie Boulter. If she were stranded on an island, who are the three players whose aid she would seek the aid to escape? Rather than three names, Boulter shared just one, “My boyfriend, my boyfriend, and my boyfriend,” the British star affirmed.

While ensuring her only choice would be Alex de Minaur thrice, she had a smile on her face. Minaur’s victory in the Mexican Open the previous day was certainly amplified at hearing his name being shared by her belle. The two display a healthy relationship filled with adorable jibes.

They have been together for four years, and as they become better players, we might see them share the grand slam stage one day.
