The first part of the Netflix documentary series ‘Break Point’ was a resounding success. It brought together Netflix, ATP, and WTA in a never-before-seen collaboration, which yielded a compelling behind-the-scenes look at both players and tournaments. While the first part focused on the Australian Open, Madrid Open, Indian Wells, and French Open, the second part will delve deep into Wimbledon, Queen’s Club, Eastbourne International, WTA Finals, ATP Finals, and the US Open. Netflix launched the first part in January, and the second part will be out next month. Will it be better than the first part? Sloane Stephens and Frances Tiafoe might have answered that question.

In an Instagram post, the official US Open Instagram page shared a trailer for one of the episodes in the second part. The trailer offered a glimpse into everything viewers can expect from the episode dedicated to the US Open.

The teasing trailer features the likes of Sloane Stephens, Frances Tiafoe, and more tennis aces

Sloane Stephens, currently the World No. 35 in the singles WTA Tour rankings, is among the most high-profile names to feature in the trailer. In the trailer, Stephens says, “It’s intense. It’s love drunk and actually drunk like it’s all of those things.”

Francis Tiafoe, the World No. 12 in the singles ATP rankings, also makes an appearance. Tiafoe says in the trailer, “You got who’s who in the crowd”. As soon as Tiafoe says this, the trailer shows former US President Bill Clinton. It’s safe to say that the second part of Break Point’s first season will be just as intense as the first part.

The first part received a lot of love, but it got a fair amount of hate as well

Many fans thought that the first part of Break Point’s debut season was fantastic. After all, it covered the likes of Nick Kyrgios, Taylor Fritz, Ons Jabeur, and several more tennis sensations. However, not everyone found it as impressive.

For instance, Reilly Opelka, the American tennis star, felt that it lacked transparency. He also pointed to its lack of specifics. According to Opelka, all in all, the series was boring at best. Let’s hope that the series’ second part lives up to all the hype and fans’ expectations.
