Iga also defeated Liudmila Samsonova in the finals and emerged as the winner. Her fans were truly happy about her success.

Iga Swiatek’s win is truly a pleasant surprise for everyone watching the match. After the US Open win of Coco Gauff, everyone was expecting her to win the China Open as well. But the cards played out in Iga’s favor.

After her amazing win, Iga posted on her X channel about her newfound success. She wrote, “Keep going. Keep grinding. It never gets easier. You just get better.”
This is probably the principle she follows and this is what gives her motivation as well. But soon after she posted this, a round of applause in the form of emojis came from Rafael Nadal’s academy page. The page posted a series of clapping emojis on Iga’s post which shows that a dream come true for her got a seal of approval from the living tennis legend.
This win is truly a moment of self-discovery for Iga especially after losing her no. 1 ranking. And it clearly showed in the conversation she had after her win.

Iga gained her confidence back after winning the China Open
In the US Open, Iga lost her number-one ranking to Jelena Ostapenko as she exited the Round of 16. This truly shook her confidence and made her feel like she lost something special. She even mentioned in one of the interviews how she feels very less confident going to the China Open and how it is never a week for her if she doesn’t cry.
So, when she won the China Open, she mentioned how she felt more confident for the rest of her career. And that this has provided her a chance to overcome and work on what she had to or make herself feel better. She also said that sometimes it’s pretty easy to overcome that but we make it complicated.
