Former pro tennis players have found a way to get back on the court with Pickleball. The same goes for Andre Agassi and his wife Steffi Graf. Both of them will be competing from the 4 of February against John McEnroe and his partner Maria Sharapova. Just recently Agassi was interviewed on a podcast with Greg Cote and he was talking about his real life and pickleball partner Steffi Graf.

In the conversation, he jokingly talked about what would happen if the two of them ever decided to part ways and how it would mean that he would get to keep half of his wife’s grand slams.

During the podcast episode of the Greg Cote Show, Andre Agassi was asked about how it made him feel that his wife was much more accomplished than him j  the sport of tennis and had more grand slams than him and if that was ever a part of an argument during any of their fights.

To which he answered, “I am still shrewd. I don’t bring 1 trophy home. Because if I did, she would. If you spend 2 minutes with her, you will forget everything she has ever accomplished. I respect her for it, I admire her for it, and I am inspired by it. But hey for the record, if she ever leaves me, I get half of her grand slams.

During the same podcast episode, Andre Agassi mentioned how if he and his wife separated, he would get half of her grand slam. And if that happened it would mean he gets to have 29 grand slams which would put him above Novak Djokovic who has 24 grand slams as of now.

“Hey, let’s be on the record, if she [Steffi Graf] ever leaves me, I get half her Slams, right? Puts me at about 29 then, Novak Djokovic has a long way to go still,” Agassi said.

However, even if Andre Agassi’s eight Grand Slam titles were combined with Steffi Graf’s 11, he would still have fewer Slams than Novak Djokovic, who currently holds more than 24 titles.
