The Polish player Iga Swiatek recently celebrated her 22nd birthday. With wishes pouring in from all over the world, Roger Federer backed On Running also left a message for the World No. 1 player. John McEnroe worries about pressure on Swiatek’s performance

2022 proved to be one of the most fruitful years for the Polish player. She won two Grand Slam titles. However, this year, she has come across Elena Rybakina and Aryna Sabalenka who have hindered her victory at multiple tournaments.

In the same context, McEnroe told Eurosport that Swiatek’s performance at the beginning of the French Open seemed a bit irritable for her. The constant rise of expectations has increased pressure on her. Besides that, growing competition from Sabalenka and Rybakina is not helping.
