The three giants have dominated the sport for nearly twenty years – Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, and Novak Djokovic. Their numbers are nothing short of mind-boggling: they’ve won more than four out of five major tournaments since 2004, held the top ranking for most of the past two decades, and collectively claimed nearly 300 titles.

A tennis page posted an update about it. The post read, “Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic have won 82.5% of all Major events played since July 2004. They have been occupying the World #1 spot for 909 out of the last 1002 weeks. That’s 17 AND A HALF YEARS! Together they have won 291 ATP Tour titles. They have finished Year End #1 for 18 of the last 19 years. At least one has reached the semi-finals of 76 of the last 78 Majors.”

However, in the midst of these impressive tennis stars, a comparison made by respected sports writer Sally Jenkins highlights the incredible skills of another tennis legend, Chris Evert. Jenkins smartly pointed out in a tweet that Evert won more than 90% of her matches, which is quite extraordinary considering she faced tough opponents like Navratilova, King, Goolagong, and Court.
