Serena Williams dropping the hammer on her rumored ex-boyfriend Drake has quickly become the biggest talking point of the NFL’s biggest night this year. The 23-time Slam winner stunned everyone after electrifying fans at the Super Bowl LIX with her surprise cameo on Pulitzer prize-winning rap artist Kendrick Lamar‘s ‘Not Like Us’ diss track. The former World No. 1’s fellow tennis players, and even her elder sister Venus Williams, weren’t far behind in reacting to her show-stealing performance.

Williams also made her presence known at the stadium after lapping the Superdome and confirming that she wasn’t cut for playing football. The Television cameras twice cut to her crip walking on the most hyped single from last year. One line in the track – “better not speak up on Serena” – goes as a reference to Williams and Drake’s rumoured relationship from 2011.

Meanwhile, her husband Alexis Ohanian also posted updates about taking charge of their daughter Olympia in the American star’s absence.

Interesting Fact: The highly anticipated game night saw the Philadelphia Eagles deny the Kansas City Chiefs their quest for a historic three-peat by recording a 40-22 victory to win Super Bowl 59 in New Orleans.

Pleasantly surprised to see the cameo, fans quickly rushed to gush in the comments, with some hilariously highlighting how “WILLIAMS doing a CRIP WALK on Drake’s tomb” was the most diabolical act ever witnessed. Several tennis stars and ex-pros also noted their thoughts by reposting her thrilling performance on their social media.

For the uninitiated, Williams crip walking to ‘Not Like Us’ comes in a reprise of her dance on Wimbledon’s Centre Court after bagging the elusive gold medal at the 2012 London Olympics. Moreover, after the show, Williams recalled the criticism she received following her iconic dance at the All England Club. “Man, I did not crip walk like that at Wimbledon. Ooh, I would’ve been fined,” she wrote on social media.

For now, Williams will look to get back home and spend time with her daughters, Olympia and Adira, before thrilling fans yet again with another surprise appearance.
