Riba shared a very optimistic statement regarding how different conditions led to this conclusion and how it has nothing to do with Coco Gauff. He stated that the main reason behind the split was somehow related to the fact that he was not able to travel with her as much as possible “due to personal family issues.”

Further, he added, “I am very happy with the work we have done together, because all the objectives were met, and I am convinced that next year Gauff will be number one.” Subsequently, he also praised the 19-year-old tennis player’s efforts and delivered a verdict regarding her position on the tennis circuit next year.
