The American tennis legend, Chris Evert, strikes down another fellow tennis legend’s comment on the young tennis players. The seven-time Grand Slam champion, John McEnroe, recently made a very strange comment about the young tennis stars’ personalities. What was this comment about that clearly disappointed the 18-time Grand Slam champion?
When it comes to personalities on the tennis court, both of the American tennis stars were quite opposite. Whereas McEnroe carried his Superbrat image of being totally unfiltered over things. And on the other hand, the 18-time Grand Slam champion was very calm, and composed and merely showed any aggressive behavior on the tennis court.

The Hall of fame tennis star, recently took to her Twitter account to share her disagreement with what the seven-time Grand Slam champion feels that the tennis world is missing in terms of having personalities on the tennis court. She shared the former world number one’s statement. Where he clearly mentioned that the tennis world needs more players like the Australian tennis star, Nick Kyrgios.
In that statement, he said, “I’d like to see a little bit more explosive temper, see the emotions. Last year Elena Rybakina won in Wimbledon but she didn’t show any emotion.” Further, the Ice Maiden shared her thoughts regarding changing one nature on the tennis court. She wrote, “Personalities are great… but changing one’s nature or temperament for the sake of entertaining? Always had a problem with that!”

Over the course of the 80s and 90s, both tennis legends dominated the sport. Yet, long before this discussion, Jimmy Connors also discussed how spectators came to watch the tennis court’s emotional outbursts and explosive tempers. He even sided with Superbrat’s behavior on the court.
