Canadian Tennis Beauty Eugenie Bouchard’s Dinner Gets a Tennis Twist as Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz Played Out a Memorable Final

The Serbian tennis legend, Novak Djokovic, after a break of two years, came back to the US and conquered the arena in style. It was time for the 36-year-old to take Wimbledon revenge against Carlos Alcaraz at the Cincinnati. And the Serb defeated the world number one in a three-hour-long final. While the thrilling match had the fans on their toes, Canadian tennis star Eugenie Bouchard also watched the crazy final like a fan.

Just like any other tennis fan, the 29-year-old Canadian tennis beauty, Eugenie Bouchard, was glued to her screen to not miss a single moment of the match while trying to stick to her routine.

The Cincinnati final was something that every tennis fan was eagerly waiting for, just to see the thrilling fight between the 23-time Grand Slam champion and the 20-year-old Spanish tennis sensation. But apart from their fans, the clash had several of their fellow players interested as well, such as ‘Genie’ Bouchard.

Bouchard took to her Instagram account to share some stories regarding how she took some time out to watch the two play in the final. But it was not just a regular way of watching the final; she was at a restaurant and was watching the match on her phone screen, making it a mini TV.

On her stories, she shared a picture of her phone that had the Serb on it, and with that, she wrote, “Watching at dinner cuz had to.” Along with that, in the second story, she described her dinner scenario, where she was seen enjoying a candlelit dinner but also had the match going on in front of her. While enjoying an amazing dinner with a twist, she wrote, “TV dinner, lol.” 

Considering the respect that she has for the ‘Djoker’, it isn’t surprising how Bouchard went to extreme lengths to watch his match. A few months ago, the 29-year-old WTA star made a huge statement after watching Djokovic lift his 23rd Grand Slam title at the French Open.

The 2014 Wimbledon finalist, despite being a huge Roger Federer fan, was left awestruck by the Nole’s achievement at the French Open. She took to her Twitter account to hail the 2023 French Open champion as the undisputed GOAT, a tribute to his astonishing achievements on the court.

Moreover, Bouchard has always enjoyed watching the world’s second-ranked tennis player play. Before adding a tennis twist to her dinner, last year she also enjoyed the epic battle between Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic, sharing how she follows the tennis tournament thoroughly even if she is not a part of it.
