There are many stories of great adventures. Lord of The Rings, Indiana Jones, Journey to the Center of the Earth, and more. However, none will tickle you more than the one that took place at the Market Harborough Lawn Tennis Club. A cow was wandering onto a tennis court and got trapped for more than 10 hours. Everyone involved was left perplexed regardless.
But the way of the arrival of the cow is still not known. A lot of weird events have happened on a tennis court before but this is the first and fans are in confusion about how did the cow enter the tennis court.

At Market Harborough Lawn Tennis Club, the members were scratching their heads when they arrived at the venue. A cow had seemed to wander onto the courts and was left trapped inside. The only farm nearby that housed cows was over one mile away. Vickie Gillespie, the farmer, said she was “gobsmacked, shocked and confused” as to how the cow arrived there. No one was injured though.
Gillespie said that her dad had disappeared with the tractor when he eventually called his daughter and said that the cow was in the tennis court. The calf wandering off alone is what confused Gillespie the most since they are herd animals. The farmers have no idea when she escaped since all the cows were accounted for at night.

She went on to explain that calves are very curious animals. Put one near something alluring and they could possibly wander off to explore the world. “She’s never been on a tennis court but it’s the first time putting young stock in these fields and they can be very curious because they’re basically teenagers,” Gillespie explained.
So how did the calf arrive to play tennis?
They think that the calf could’ve escaped from the one fence that had been tampered with in the past. Usually, most cows make sure to stick near the herd, but some feel rebellious and can take off from the group. They added that the cow was not hurt and was taken back to the farm safely. “It might just be a one-off and she might have been feeling brave.”
