Once again, as Svitolina braces up to face Belarusian tennis star Aryna Sabalenka in the quarter-finals, Monfils makes sure to be by his wife’s side.
After celebrating her every single victory at the French Open, Monfils is setting tennis husband goals as he preps Svitolina for a tough match against world no. 2.

Elina Svitolina has made an impressionable comeback which has garnered her a lot of love and support. However, on the other hand, she is facing Aryna Sabalenka. The world no. 2 player has given her peak performance on the court this year and is on her swing to win her second Grand Slam title of the year. So, Svitolina is going against a tough competitor. But this has not wavered the spirit of the Ukrainian player. Moreover, her husband Gael Monfils is right by her side as he gears up Svitolina for a challenging match.
Svitolina took the support of Monfils’ knee as she stretched herself up. Then hitting some warmup stretches, Monfils with a cast was seen guiding Svitolina before her match.

Svitolina receives an overwhelming amount of support from the French crowd
The Ukrainian player has brought out her best game after making a comeback. Additionally, she accepted the fact that the staggering amount of support from the crowd has helped her do better.
In the post-match conference after securing a place in the quarter-finals, she shared her views on the crowd. Showing love and gratitude for the loving support, she expressed her shock at the sheer amount of cheers she got. Moreover, she accepted the fact that her relationship with Monfils has played a major role in it.
