Casper Ruud had a memorable run to the 2023 French Open final this year. Although he fell to Novak Djokovic in the finals and was unable to win the championship, he certainly made the most of his off-court activities. Despite suffering an early loss at Wimbledon, he did the same and had fun while attending several music concerts. However, his latest off-court adventure got the ire of a fan, who didn’t take kindly to him having some fun in a baseball park.

The 24-year-old tennis player is currently in Toronto for the Rogers Cup. Just two days ago, he went to the Toronto Blue Jays game and stepped on the pitch to try a throw. But that eventually led to a feud between him and a podcast host. Recently, Serena Williams’ former coach, Rennae Stubbs, stepped in to settle the debate once and for all.

Serena Williams’ ex-coach puts a full stop to the Casper Ruud baseball feud

A few days ago, the world’s fourth-ranked tennis player’s pitching video was uploaded and started going viral on Twitter. While his pitch surprised his fans a lot and impressed them unexpectedly, a tennis commentator and podcast host, Craig Shapiro, criticized his pitch, expressing his astonishment at how Elite athletes cannot even throw a ball properly.

Even though, the 2023 French Open finalist has given a very witty answer on his part, Australian tennis coach, Rennae Stubbs gave her take on the exchange. She hilariously commented on the same post, “Casper don’t worry mate, I’ll take Craig out tomorrow and video his take back and we can compare!”

But Shapiro was not ready to let his guard down. She fulfilled her words and shared a video of him, doing the same throw that the 24-year-old tennis player did. Along with that, she wrote, “Here u go Twitter world! 👌🏼especially @CasperRuud98.”

Nevertheless, the 4th ranked tennis player has given a very clear answer after the podcast host’s criticized him, on a fun aspect of the sport.
