Cameron Brink is a rising star in the world of college basketball. She currently plays for the Stanford Cardinal as a small forward. Brink?s collegiate is more than just impressive. In her freshman year, she played an important role in securing Stanford a championship win. In her sophomore year, she was given the title of Pac-12 Co-Player of the Year, after she led her team to the final four. During her junior year, she earned the title of WBCA Defensive Player of the Year and also became Stanford?s all-time leader in blocks.
In her junior year, Brink averaged 15.1 points, 9.6 rebounds, and 3.5 blocks per game. She even excelled on an international level by winning gold for the USA at the 2019 FIBA under-19 World Cup and the 2018 FIBA under-17 World Cup. She is also the godsister of NBA superstar Stephen Curry.
Even though Stephen Curry and Cameron Brink are not blood-related, they do share a close bond rooted in their family’s history. This dates back to when Curry?s mother, Sonya Adams, and Brink?s mother, Michele Bain, were roommates. During this time, Michele made Sonya her daughter Brink’s godmother. This established a unique and cherished relationship between Brink and Curry as god-siblings.

In her story, she shared an update from the official WNBA and WNBA Golden State account, revealing the women’s league’s expansion to the Bay area. Cameron Brink is determined to complete her college first
The basketball star of Stanford, Cameron Brink, was eligible for the 2023 WNBA Draft. However, she has chosen to sit this draft out as she wants to complete her college. In a conversation with Alex Simon, she revealed, ?I think I want to stay just because I want to just continue to be a kid. Finish my degree in four years, not rush myself. It’s fun, college is fun. Why not stay??
