A’ja Wilson and Bam Adebayo are NEVER beating those dating rumors. It’s been months of speculation, but every time you turn around, these two are showing up for each other. Whether it’s sharing unique handshakes or sitting courtside cheering each other on, you know there’s something special going on here. So, naturally, when Bam came through with a game-winning moment, the LV Aces star was there to give him a shoutout.
The NBA star pulled off one of those clutch moments that make you jump out of your seat. With time winding down, he nailed a 19-foot jumper to seal the deal for the Miami Heat, giving them a 105-103 win over the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday night.
It capped off an incredible 30-point, 13-rebound performance from Bam. And, obviously, the 3x WNBA MVP was on full (rumored) girlfriend duty, cheering loud and clear.

She took to Twitter and posted a one-word reaction, “LFG,” which stands for “Let’s freaking go!”

She wasn’t done there either. Over on Instagram Threads, A’ja Wilson went full-on hype mode and screamed, posting “*SCREAMS*”. Clearly, she couldn’t contain her excitement and honestly, neither could the fans. Because, you know, the 2024-25 season for Miami has never been easy. And even with Spurs’ star Victor Wembanyama sitting out, it still wasn’t smooth sailing.
The Heat were teetering in the fourth quarter with Jimmy Butler suspended (again), but then came Adebayo. Along with the buzzer-beater, he put on an amazing game. Tyler Herro struggled with his shot, but Bam Adebayo stepped up in a major way, even hitting a couple of 3-pointers along the way.
The Heat were up by 4 with less than a minute to go, but it was a back-and-forth battle. With both teams tied at 103, Miami had the final possession, and the Heat center delivered. And that was his third (Spurs, Pistons, Nets) career game-winning, buzzer-beating shot, which ties him for the Heat franchise lead with Dwyane Wade.

A’ja Wilson soaks up the love as her jersey retirement day arrives
While A’ja Wilson is busy supporting her rumored beau, it’s her time to shine as she’s about to get the ultimate honor—her jersey retirement. Wilson’s No. 22 jersey is being officially retired by South Carolina, making her the first women’s basketball player in the program’s history to have this done.
The ceremony will take place on February 2 before South Carolina’s game against Auburn (you’ll catch it on SEC Network, 9 a.m. PT). We know that she’s already got a statue outside Colonial Life Arena, but now her jersey will forever hang in the rafters too.
South Carolina coach Dawn Staley, who is a forever fan of Wilson’s legacy, shared how much she thinks this moment is long overdue, saying, “A’ja Wilson is by far the best player in the world. I think it should’ve happened a long time ago.”

And truly, the WNBA star’s impact on the Gamecocks is undeniable. She led the team to its first-ever NCAA Women’s National Championship, was named All-American every single year, and holds 22 program records. So, after all that she has done, we can definitely expect a packed Colonial Life Arena.
And until the celebration begins, let’s wait and see when and what Bam Adebayo has to say on social media to congratulate his alleged girlfriend!
