After a record-breaking display, Breanna Stewart and the Liberty are back in action again on Sunday. A trip to The Gateway Center Arena @ College Park marks their 3rd game in a period of 4 days. Nonetheless, they are still entering the contest on the back of a 2-game winning streak. As for the hosts, they are not having a very pleasant time in the middle having lost 2 out of their last 3 games. Be that as it may, it will be interesting to see which of the players from these squads are fit enough to take the court tomorrow.
Injury status in the New York and Atlanta camps
The Liberty’s locker room is expected to be missing out on the services of 3 of its players. These are Betnijah Laney-Hamilton, Courtney Vandersloot, and Nyara Sabally. All these players were absent from Saturday’s home game against the LA Sparks as well and no such official word has been released by the team regarding their availability yet. Laney-Hamilton who has been a starter this season is currently dealing with a right knee injury. Providing an update on her current state, head coach Brondello said, “She’s doing better. Making progress.”

At the same time, Nyara Sabally is currently having some issues with her back. Meanwhile, Courtney Vandersloot has joined the team after missing out on 7 games. The unfortunate passing of her mother due to cancer last week kept her out of the court. Whether or not she’ll participate in tomorrow’s game lies in the corridor of uncertainty.
On the other hand, the story remains the same for the hosts from their previous encounter against the Fever. Their experienced No.10 Rhyne Howard is recovering from a left ankle injury and is forced to sit on the sidelines for an indefinite time. Although, fans can expect guard Jordin Canada to make her season debut.
Now, it’s worth a watch as to which team holds the upper hand in this enticing contest.
Dream vs Fever: Prediction and starting 5
The ESPN Matchup Predictor favors the New York Liberty by 66.8% to win the fixture. Primarily because their season leaders in points, rebounds, and assists all fall in the top 15 in the overall individual rankings. Moreover, Breanna Stewart, Jonquel Jones, and Sabrina Ionescu along with Kayla Thornton and Leonie Fiebich can be the possible starters.
In the meantime, the Dream will be heavily reliant on Cheyenne Parker-Tyus, Nia Coffey, Tina Charles, Allisha Gray, and Haley Jones to provide them with a good start. Their 33.2% win probability will mostly depend on how their season leaders Tina Charles and Allisha Gray perform.

There is no denying that the game will be an entertaining one for the fans. While the Liberty are clear favorites, many would believe that Atlanta might have some tricks up their sleeves. Will it be a fourth straight win for Liberty or an upset by the hosts? Only time will tell.
