When in doubt, wear red! With the season over, Angel Reese is recuperating comfortably from her wrist surgery. After making appearances on the sidelines of NFL grounds, the Chicago Sky forward is now stepping into chic dresses and strappy heels. And the women of the sports world are right by her side to shower compliments!

When the ‘Bayou Barbie’ posted a carousel of her latest appearance at Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on Oct. 15th to Instagram, fellow WNBA player Cameron Brink was among the first ones to comment. She wrote, “I’m obsessed 😍😍😍”, while Reese’s alma mater LSU’s Olivia Dunne said, “Angel 😍 “

Dunne and Reese have often talked about their friendship on various social media channels and one’s graduation does not seem to have affected it! Meanwhile, Brink and Reese are from the same WNBA Draft Class, even if the Sparks player was forced to end her season early due to injury. The two have even shared some TikTok videos during the 2024 WNBA draft events.

Meanwhile, even retired W phenom Lisa Leslie joined the party with, “Okay!!!! I like Sophisticated Barbie❤️” Stealing the show in a red crochet dress with spaghetti straps, reportedly designed by Diotima, Reese added a matching, long-sleeve sweater; her hair in an updo, and her feet in black heels. A gold choker on her neck, diamond rings, and silver earrings completed the look with light makeup. The dress was designed by Jamaican designer Rachel Scott whose 2021-founded company focuses “on supporting and amplifying artisanal communities in Jamaica.”

Although the pictures don’t show it, Reese’s former Sky teammate Kysre Gondrezick was also present with her at Brooklyn Navy Yard, New York. Who the pictures do show alongside the W player is rapper Cardi B. Meanwhile, another musician known for supporting Reese, Megan Thee Stallion, also commented on the post, “Omg😍😍😍😍” 

Known for her pregame outfits, Reese is certainly no stranger to the world of fashion. And maybe she was destined to go to a Victoria’s Secret show someday because their models are called ‘Angels’!

The stars were out for the night and Angel Reese was among those of the bejeweled party. The Chi-Town Barbie turned into NYC Barbie, stepping away from the court in recent weeks as she takes a break from basketball. After her red dress ensemble, Angel Reese was also spotted in a little black dress and a long black jacket, changing her look from chic to badass.

The Sky forward has been making the most of the WNBA offseason lately, and even attended an Usher concert a few weeks ago. Not only that, but she also took the stage with him to sing out a few tunes! While this was not the case at the fashion show, fans are hoping they might see her walk the runway too someday, her alternate career choice which she revealed back in Baton Rouge.

For now, she’s healing from her wrist injury, and the cast has come off. Reese might play in Unrivaled if her hand allows, but if not, we will have to wait until next WNBA season to see her back on the court!
