The batch of 2024 had a lot to offer to their fans. Caitlin Clark, Kamilla Cardoso, and Kiki Rice were among the many illustrious stars who escalated women’s college basketball, giving it a new face. With one thriller after another, they truly changed the view of fans on women’s sports. However, while they did give multiple heat-rising plays on the court, the fans did not capture their true selves outside the lines. Hence, women’s college basketball stars with some memorable stories in their books have joined hands with ESPN+ and Peyton Manning’s Omaha Productions for a special project.
ESPN’s docuseries featuring Caitlin Clark, Kamilla Cardoso, and Kiki Rice named ‘Full Court Press’ is now finally releasing. But first, its premier launched today in Tobias Theatre at Newfields, Indianapolis, with the hoopers’ families in attendance. Taking the stage with the three icons in the making, ESPN’s Holly Rowe began the talk. She first asked Kamilla Cardoso if her mother and sister would make a cut in the docuseries.

Responding, the Brazilian hooper said on her family flying to see her in the Final Four, “That was very special. I’m big on family. Just being able to have them down there and watch me being me was amazing.” Later, UCLA’s star guard Rice also mentioned the things she was grateful for. She said, “I’m (grateful) for the opportunity to tell my story and for my teammates usually like to tell their story too. Because most of my favorite athletes are not just because of how they play and what they’ve done on the floor or the field. But because they’ve been able to tell their stories.”

Caitlin Clark, who once again wore Prada, was also at the event. And she had many roles to play in the docuseries.
What does the Executive Producer Caitlin Clark have to say?
Yes, you read that correctly. The 2x Naismith player of the year is not just excelling in sports and studies but also in other applied fields. Apart from giving all the electric memoirs of her dazzling career, she also overtook the duty of seeing the production meet its goals. Commenting on the new docuseries, she said, “I love this whole thing. You get to see us play in college two hours, two times a week. That’s all you see of us. Everybody thinks they know you based off what you do on the court.”

The NCAA’s all-time scoring leader also said what she wants people to take away from the series, “I think this just gives a good glimpse of everything that we do off the court. What makes us go every single day. It shows we’re way more than a basketball player. And that goes way beyond just us three, that goes for every female student athlete across the country no matter what sport they are playing.”
Undeniably, the Caitlin Clark effect has taken over the world much quicker than anticipated. Hence, getting to know more about her and the stories of other hoopers will also be quite popular among basketball fans. The series will be released on May 11 and 12 on ABC first and later will be available on ESPN+ for the viewers.
