The boardroom Instagram page has shared information that “WNBA ticket sales in 2023 increased 161% from last year.” A’ja Wilson reposted the post in her Instagram stories, saying they should see an Aces home game, which has far more viewership. “If you haven’t been to an Aces home game, you’re missing out,” she wrote on her Instagram. Despite the ticket sales, the WNBA finals marked another victory.

A tighter series might have increased demand for tickets to the 2023 WNBA Finals, which have proven to be among the most sought-after in the league’s history. With an average sold price of $118, Game 4 between the Las Vegas Aces and New York Liberty is the second-best-selling Liberty home game since at least 2015, trailing only Sunday’s Game 3 ($153).

The game is tracking as one of the top four best-selling WNBA games of all time, regular season or playoffs. This information comes from Vivid Seats data. According to the firm, the average fan travel distance for Game 4 is more than 220 miles.

A steady rise in viewership

According to the corporation, revenues have increased by 185% from the previous record set during the 2022 Finals involving the Aces and Connecticut Sun. As per the Liberty, there were 17,143 onlookers in attendance.
