Indiana Fever sensation Caitlin Clark’s star power shone brightly at The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican Pro-Am, where her shots soaring over the tree line drew widespread attention. The Golf Channel even expanded its coverage, kicking off the stream 90 minutes earlier than usual to capture her rounds. Yet, Clark’s influence extended well beyond the greens.
To share her presence with fans on social media, she took to her official Instagram account to post a couple of photos of herself on the golf course. “Fun day surrounded by two of the best to ever do it ⛳️📍The ANNIKA driven by @gainbridgesport,” she captioned it. It was quick to catch her Fever teammate, Aliyah Boston’s attention.
Intrigued by Clark’s golf appearance, the Fever no. 7 requested, “Can you teach me how to golf? Trying to add it to my resume.” As expected, Clark responded in the most humorous way, asking Boston if she would make a TikTok about it.

Since Caitlin Clark joined the team, Boston has found a true partner in crime. After their many gym-session reels together, and Clark’s previous golf TikTok with teammate Lexie Hull, the idea was a no-brainer for Boston. “I’m ready when you are sista gurlll 🫡” she responded. This playful exchange is nothing new between Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston.
The two often share moments during post-game conferences

One such instance is when Clark hinted at playing professional golf this offseason, prompting Boston to reply, “Not too much, babe. Keep it basketball,” with a broad smile. Even during a mini-golf team activity, the playful banter continued. As Boston’s scores surpassed Clark’s, she tagged Clark in the comments, and Clark humorously responded, “@aliyahboston please leave me alone.” Boston, clearly not bothered, responded in kind.

However, it’s not just about the jokes.
Their bond goes deeper. From the beginning, they’ve had each other’s backs, especially in moments when Clark’s growing media presence overshadowed others. For instance, during a June 24 conference, Clark noticed Boston sitting ideal. When a reporter called on Clark, she interrupted, gesturing toward Boston and saying, “Ask Aliyah a question.” Though Boston initially brushed it off, Clark insisted, “Ask Aliyah a question,” ensuring Boston received the attention she deserved.
The 2023 no.1 draft pick has been a reliable force for Clark in the locker room, helping her navigate through all the attention and the latter has expressed her gratitude. So it is two ways and Boston expects the dynamic to grow as the years pass. “She’s always had my back. She’s just someone that I can read on. But I think our chemistry and our connection just continues to grow,” she had expressed and well, indeed.
