The WNBA stars lit up the Orange Carpet last night with their unique yet ravishing fashion sense. But one of the best parts about this All-Star weekend for some would be the return of the 3x Hall of Famer Cheryl Miller. Moreover, even her comeback has a sense of style. While the social media platforms have only now begun popularizing the outfits that the players rock, the story has been quite different for the former Phoenix Mercury head coach. In fact, the USC legend has always been in a league of her own. As she returns to the W, fans are pouring love for her outfit checks on social media.
It has been 24 years since Cheryl Miller gave up her position as Mercury’s head coach and General Manager. Still, as she entered the Footprint Arena last night, she was all smiles in style. In fact, she made the cameramen zoom in on her custom cleats. But this return was only as legendary as her outfits back in the day. After the news of the Team WNBA coach for the 2024 All-Star Weekend came out, an X user posted a series of photos of Cheryl Miller’s outfits.
They captioned their tweet, “nah man, cheryl miller was getting some CRAZY fits off when she was coaching.” In the photos, the 3x Naismith Player of the Year is wearing some formal business outfits from a suit to suspenders.

Even though it has been some time since the 60-year-old tried her hands at coaching, she might bring out her A-game again. Especially with talents like WNBA rookies Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese on the team. But for now, it is the fans trying to get the best reactions across for her 90s looks.
Cheryl Miller finds love again as fans did not forget their USC sensation (nor Reggie Miller)
The 90s were the times when fashion and practicality were on a high. Something that the former Phoenix Mercury coach may just have aced at. As she brought her best looks to the sidelines, today’s fans are lining up to react to her. But first, it was none other than ESPN’s First Take analyst Stephen A. Smith to enter the comment section.

However, he had a joke prepared to compliment Cheryl Miller and also roast her brother Reggie Miller. It is known that the Indiana Pacers legend, despite achieving greatness in his NBA career, could never get a ring. On the other hand, the 60-year-old has a long list of accolades. These even include 3x Hall of Famer and 5x gold medals in total.
“Another area where Reggie could NOT compete.”
Some WNBA fans preferred how Cheryl Miller carried herself with the suspenders look, something not very common for female coaches. Moreover, she had braided hair as well at that time. The overall look for a few X users was cold while for others it brought heat. For the cold look, surely, Miller not just suggested that she was the head coach of a WNBA team but also that she was here for business.

However, the look was not as welcomed by all as one would expect. The same suspenders look had a white shirt and brown trousers to complete the fit. But more than a coach, it gave the vibe of a detective or a private investigator. Hence, one X user came into the comment section to opine how Cheryl Miller must be going to solve a mystery after the Phoenix game.
“When you got a game to coach but a mystery to solve for a widowed woman after”A WNBA follower simply came into the conversation to mention how much they wanted Cheryl Miller to return to the WNBA as a coach. Although we don’t know if their comment was for the legend’s looks or for her coaching skills. Surely, we will see how the Team WNBA does under her guidance as they take on the best of the best in Team USA this Saturday.
“I wish she would come and coach in the W so bad”Outfit or not, there is no denying that Cheryl Miller carries an aura that is quite hard to beat. It will be very intriguing to see how she creates magic once again as she coaches one of the best groups that the league has as her All-Star team assembles in the Footprint Center soon.
