In the world of women?s basketball, the Las Vegas Aces and the New York Liberty advanced to the 2023 WNBA Championship Finals. Both teams are set to lock horns in a best-of-five series. So far, three out of the five games have already taken place and while the Aces have won two of them, they still suffer from back-to-back setbacks and challenges. But in this moment of darkness for the Aces, a shed of light has presented itself.

In a recent interview during a practice session, head coach of the Las Vegas Aces, Becky Hammon dropped a hint that has gotten the fans excited.

Popularly known as ?Ace?, the Las Vegas Aces star Candace Parker is one of the greatest WNBA players of all time. Being selected as the first overall pick in the 2008 WNBA draft, Parker has won two championship titles. In July, the Las Vegas Aces announced that Parker would be sidelined after undergoing surgery to repair her fractured foot. She was playing the whole season with a fracture in her left foot and after consulting with the doctors, she had to undergo surgery to protect her long-term health.?

Since then, A?ja Wilson and the Aces have been playing without Parker. After two more players were sidelined in the championship Finals, the head coach of the Aces, Becky Hammon hinted at a comeback of the Aces star power forward. During a recent interview, Hammon was asked, ?Is Candace an option??

In her response, she said, ?You know, I have to see if I can suit her. Maybe!? Her answers have sent shockwaves in the basketball world. The fans and the basketball enthusiasts cannot control their excitement to see Parker making a comeback in the crucial game of the championship Finals. If Parker makes a comeback, things will get hard for the New York Liberty, but nothing can be said for sure at the moment.

The Las Vegas Aces suffered a disheartening loss in Game 3 on Sunday against the New York Liberty. Being already in a lead of 2 games, this loss was more than just a loss of a game for the Aces. The star point guard, Chelsea Gray, and starting center, Kiah Stokes suffered from leg injury during the game and will be sidelined for game 4 of the 2023 WNBA championship series.
