On Tuesday, the Dallas Wings star Natasha Howard tied the knot with Jac’Eil Duckworth. As was expected, well wishes from around the world flooded their X post announcing the new bond in their life. Duckworth thanked Howard for taking their relationship to the next level revealing that she had been with Howard for the past two years.
Plus, Howard who is known for usually being calm and cool as per Duckworth has also influenced her to take things slowly. “I’m not sure where you find the patience to deal with my ways at times but you do!” Duckworth stated in the comments section. However, despite Duckworth being a central figure in Howard’s love life not many details have been out about the duo.

Residing with Howard at Saint Martin, Mississippi as per The Blade, Duckworth shot to national fame when she made an appearance on the Basketball Wives reality-TV series. Into its 11th season, the show features fiances, girlfriends, and wives of balling superstars and delves into their personal lives. The show was broadcast on the VH1 network and Howard and Duckworth became the first LGBTQ-WNBA couple to take center stage in the popular reality show.
On the professional front, Duckworth has a hair care salon named The Takeover Barber and Beauty Bar in which she takes care of her clients and also makes hair grooming products and services available at reasonable costs. She also started her own YouTube channel to market herself and considers herself a hair care genius. With the extensive number of services she provides, there is no doubt that her clients will flock to her bar to get their hair sorted.

She also regularly posts on social media platforms such as Snapchat, Instagram, and X, sharing updates about her busy life. Additionally, Duckworth can often be found courtside supporting Howard when she plays for the Wings. At one such Dallas Wings game, Duckworth made a notable appearance as a spectator, drawing attention with her stylish outfit—a crop top sweater paired with a grey pleated skirt. It’s clear she’s captured the hearts of both Howard and her admirers.

Even during her time on the VH1 reality show, Duckworth was known for her boldness and unwavering stance, which earned her considerable praise from fans who admired her straightforward approach. In February, she posted a picture with Howard, dressed in a red suit, and referred to the 32-year-old as her best friend. It’s clear they’ve come a long way from where they started, and their bond seems like a match made in heaven. However, fans might be surprised to learn that Duckworth isn’t the first woman in Howard’s life.
The ex- in Natasha Howard’s life
Natasha got married to Jacqueline Howard in 2017. While initially the couple looked to be in their happy space, there were a series of allegations leveled against Natasha later on. Previously, the couple used to post heart-melt pictures where they looked more like best friends having a good time with each other. But later Jacqueline came forward in 2019 to ask Natasha to end the relationship with a lot of allegations in her tweets.
Though Natasha denied the allegations, the matter was taken to the court. This would have definitely hurt Natasha who must have found solace going forward in Duckworth. Natasha too at that time presented her side of the story which also made Jacqueline’s story questionable. The two were embroiled in a long-standing battle where they revealed each other’s toxic habits.
Natasha was later investigated by both the Seattle Storm and the WNBA. Natasha who was heartbroken at the onset of the process placed her trust in the court proceedings and the investigation that according to her would spill the real beans about the whole issue. Since that ended on a sour note for both parties, credit to Duckworth for making a place in Natasha’s heart and re-igniting her trust in relationships.

Natasha’s love for Duckworth can seen from the fact that she replied to her new wife on the social media networking site X on Tuesday, and shared her happiness for “bring(ing) you peace and be in your soft girl era as well.” Hopefully, the couple will continue to win hearts off the court. And after the news of their marriage, more people will tune in to watch the Basketball Wives to get a glimpse of Duckworth.
Hopefully, for Natasha Howard’s fans, this union will also work magic on the hardwood. The Dallas Wings currently have a disappointing 6-20 record and are struggling to realize their playoff dreams. Perhaps Howard, energized by the abundance of love in her life, can turn the team’s fortunes around this season. If such a transformation occurs, fans will be eager to see the Wings make it to the elimination rounds.
