The Dallas Wings got mixed results from their first two WNBA games against the Chicago Sky. They won the first one by an 87-79 margin whereas they were defeated in the second one by a 73-84 tally. The games had a narrow difference in scores and fans missed their small forward Satou Sabally.

Sabally had averaged 18.6 points per game during the 2023 season and had become a mainstay player for the Wings. Unfortunately, she picked up a shoulder injury earlier this year that has barred her from making an appearance in the 2024 season as of now.

As per the same report from Olympics.com, Sabally underwent surgery for the same in February. Since then she has been recovering well as per Dallas Wings president Greg Bibb. He was questioned regarding Sabally’s return to the WNBA to which he replied, She’s on schedule with her rehab” in late April.

Though Sabally got injured during the Olympic qualifiers, she is expected to be back during the summer games later this year and help her team sail through some tough contenders. Previously, she had gone viral when Brazil’s Kamilla Cardoso had pushed the 26-year-old during a match with Germany. However, fans are eagerly waiting for Sabally’s return.
