The Minnesota Lynx’s 86?73 triumph over the Phoenix Mercury on Sunday night guaranteed them a place in the playoffs. This was a momentous occasion for the team as it also marked head coach Cheryl Reeve’s 300th career victory.

However, the top pick of the Minnesota Lynx collapsed after the opposing defender fell on her from behind. It was a clear foul that the player was extremely scared of during and after the incident.

It’s notable that Diamond Miller, the second overall pick in the 2023 WNBA Draft, is recovering from an ankle sprain and the unexpected leap on her would have taken a big toll. “Miller has been collapsed upon and comes down hard,” announced the analyst in the middle of the intense game.

Michala Onyenwere made an enormous leap on Diamond Miller as the former went down hard on her knees. It enraged the entire team. We could see Aerial Powers on the bench showing a distressing reaction to the incident.
