The Fever franchise is reaching new heights, and much of that can be credited to standout players like Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston. Their presence has helped transform the team, marking a pivotal moment for the Fever as they made their first WNBA playoff appearance since 2016. Their star power has not only elevated the team’s performance but has also driven ticket sales, filling arenas and boosting the Fever’s profile within the league.

Pacers Sports & Entertainment (PS&E) has announced plans for a groundbreaking new sports performance center to continue this momentum. Slated to open before the 2027 WNBA season, the 108,000-square-foot facility will be located in the heart of downtown Indianapolis. Construction will begin in the summer of 2025, and the center will be connected to Gainbridge Fieldhouse, creating a seamless integration of the Fever’s practice and game spaces.

Designed with female athletes in mind, the new center will feature state-of-the-art amenities. Players will benefit from two regulation-sized courts bathed in natural light, premier strength and conditioning facilities, and dedicated yoga and Pilates spaces.

Additionally, a full-service kitchen will support the athletes’ nutritional needs. At the same time, the facility’s recovery area will offer a spa-like experience, complete with massage therapy, infrared light treatments, saunas, hydrotherapy pools, and more. This center will provide the Fever players with everything they need to perform at their highest level, further solidifying the franchise’s commitment to elevating women’s sports.

Caitlin Clark isn’t just showing up—she’s creating a movement. Her presence at key events, like supporting the Indy Ignite Pro Volleyball team and the Indiana Fever’s new training center, reflects her drive to empower rising athletes and elevate Indiana’s sports scene. With each step, she’s proving that her impact goes way beyond basketball, shaping the future of sports in the state and inspiring the next generation of athletes.
