When Angel Reese signed an NIL deal with Beats in January this year, she started a new tradition. The Maryland-born went ahead to give Louisiana State University Tigers men’s and women’s basketball teams gold and yellow headphones. It was done to promote the brand while also giving something to her friends that would stay as a memory with them. And now that she has transitioned into the W, Reese looks to continue the practice especially after she got compliments from her friends just days ahead of her new podcast release.

“I gotta give my girls the new beats,” Reese stated when she was getting wishes from her friends. The Chi-Town Barbie was talking about the Unapologetically Angel Show which is scheduled to launch on September 5 this year.

Announcing the show on her Instagram story on Thursday, Reese opined that the episodes will feature her favorite celebrities and fans. The co-host of the show will be Maya Reese who will help Angel in her pursuit of producing top-notch content. And hence, her friends who were featured on the show chose to applaud Reese for new beginnings.

“Hey, sister. I just wanna say congratulations on your new podcast that you’re about to start. I’m so happy for you. I love you so much and I can’t wait to watch,” Mia Davis stated while praising Reese. Similarly, Endyia Rogers also expressed her excitement about the upcoming show as she said, “Hey, best! Congrats on your new podcast. I’m super happy for you. This is just another opportunity for you to let your voice be heard. Let your light shine and keep being unapologetically Angel. I love you lots and keep accomplishing great things.” 

But when Trisha Acheampong congratulated Reese for the show, she also revealed that she would be using a Beats headset to listen to the episode. Hence, it was that moment when Reese opined that she would like to gift her friends the Beats headphones. One can be sure that the headphones are top quality since Reese was seen wearing them a few days ago when Kim Kardashian gave her a shout-out.

Kim Kardashian gives Angel Reese a shout-out

Reese was recently spotted wearing BeatsxKim, a product of a collaboration between Kardashian and Beats in August last week. When Kardashian took notice of the headset, she instantly took to the social media networking site X to give Reese a shout-out. “OMG she’s wearing the beats x kim headphones,” Kardashian wrote in the story caption. Meanwhile, Reese replied with equal enthusiasm.

“kim k you know I love you & im always repping the @beatsbydre family,” Reese captioned her story while resharing Kim’s story. The headphones which are available in three colors- moon, dune, and deep had Reese donning the dune ones.

And maybe her friends can also style them when they receive Reese’s gifts. Plus, they can also be proud of Reese for starting her podcast as they wait for the first episode to drop.
