Imagine walking into an event thinking you’re about to contribute to a great cause, only to realize you’ve been completely duped. That’s exactly what happened to a former LA Clippers player, all thanks to the hilarious antics of Cameron Brink and Anthony Davis. What started as an inspiring charity event quickly turned into an elaborate prank, leaving the former Clipper confused, flustered, and, in the end, bursting with laughter.
All of this was part of Davis’s new TBS show Foul Play with Anthony Davis, a show embracing the idea that sports can be a little bit of mischief, too. The setup? A high school gym transformed to resemble the real thing for a phony charity event named “Operation Slam Dunk.”
Terance Mann former LA clippers guard arrived with an oversized check, thinking he was there to support young athletes overcoming adversity. He had no idea that he was about to become the centerpiece of a finely orchestrated prank. Davis, who seemed to relish every moment of it, confessed, “Nothing makes me happier than a Clipper getting played.”

It started when Brink delivered a heartfelt statement regarding a young athlete, Mia Hayes. The young athlete was thought to be recovering well from an ACL injury. Everyone in the room broke into applause when Mia rolled onto the stage with her parents in a wheelchair. It was all pretty sincere—until chaos reigned.
All of a sudden, Mia’s wheelchair rolled off the stage. Gasps erupted and people rushed to assist, but while everyone was tending to Mia, all eyes turned to Mann. Brink poured more coals on the flame with an impeccable move. “Terrence was by the wheelchair,” someone from the audience pointed. And then Brink landed the knockout punch: “Yeah, he was. He was over there with it. Terrence. Did you put on the brake? Did she just roll?” Talk about throwing someone under the bus!
To make matters worse, organizers asked Mann to help pay for additional rehab costs for Mia’s now “worsened” injuries. But Davis wasn’t done yet. He told the father to make an ask: “Ask for Laker courtside seats … But he’s a Clipper though; Clippers you don’t want him,” he joked, pretty much placing a neon sign of where his allegiance is.
Brink and Davis finally came clean, after letting Mann sweat for long enough. The charity? Fake. Mia’s injury? Completely staged. The whole thing? One giant prank. “Yo, are y’all serious?” Mann said before he too finally just started laughing. He got played, but he handled it like a champion.

The Queen of Pranks: Cameron Brink
As it turns out, Cameron Brink has a history of pranks. She has a reputation for having as much fun outside of the sport as when tearing up the courts. And this latest prank on Foul Play is just another funny addition to her highlight reel of mischief.

Of her more notable pranks, one involved her fiancé, Ben Felter, and Whistle Sports. Brink had entered what she believed to be a serious press conference, only to find herself being interrogated by child reporters. These kids didn’t pull punches — they asked about her engagement, they read insane online reactions like “My life is over!” and “Is this guy bothering you?,” and had her questioning everything. As soon as she found out Felter was the one behind it, she couldn’t stop laughing.
