Courtney Vandersloot was the third overall pick for the Chicago Sky in 2011. She played for the team for almost her entire career before joining the New York Liberty in 2023. On the other hand, Allie Quigley, who later became Courtney’s wife, started her professional career with the Phoenix Mercury. She has been here and there until she finally settled for the Chicago Sky in 2013 and played for them for almost a decade before parting ways this year.

The two first became teammates and played a crucial role in leading the Sky to the Finals in 2014 and finally getting a trophy home in 2021. Both Courtney and Allie have been on Chicago’s tenure for the longest and helped lay a foundation for the team.

However, after being teammates for almost half a decade, the two tied knot in an extremely private ceremony. The wedding was held in Seattle with just their parents. The guards from Chicago Sky did not tell the world about their relationship until two days after their marriage.
