The entire franchise is stoked about the addition of the new WNBA team. Recently, fans got a hold of a tight-end footballer for the San Francisco 49ers at the Chase Stadium. Ahead of his Super Bowl matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs, George Kittle shared some positive words. The 2x First Team All-Pro sent a special message to the fans, “Hey guys! Guess what? Golden State just got a WNBA team. Look at us, we’re ready to go. Lock it in, be fans, it’s gonna be great right here at the Chase Center. Catch you there!”

While the roster is not out yet, they will surely be ready to wreak havoc on their opponents. However, the franchise has announced its WNBA team President– Jess Smith. It is no surprise that they went for the lady who has been with the club since it took its first steps back in 2020. She, along with Joe Lacob, Peter Guber, and Brandon Schneider, are ready to build a robust WNBA team. Fans are eagerly looking out for which players become the face of this new addition.
What we know about Golden State’s WNBA Team
The Warriors have always believed in a great team rather than a team with great players. Following the same, they have started all the procedures to bring a well-rounded roster together. However, they will be playing in the 2025 campaign of the WNBA.
