The first one is their sport, and the other one is their beloved and supportive fans.  The Las Vegas Aces can be considered one of the most jovial and lively WNBA teams of all having a passionate and highly dedicated fan base, who are often referred to by the team as ‘the best fans in the world.’ Notably, it is the sisterhood and chemistry prevailing among the Aces team that draws their fans towards them.

However, there is one such person whose dedication has led him to become the team’s No.1 fan.

The fan who turned into a friend

In a recent interview, Kelsey Plum was asked a rather intriguing question about a celebrity who shocked her by being a big fan. Appreciating the choice of question she says, “That’s a good question. I would say Dana, Dana White. I just love him, I love him as a human being in his heart.”

‘Life is better with true friends,’ this quote fits perfectly in line with Kelsey Plum’s friendship with Dana White as she expresses his moral contribution towards the team saying, “He’s come out to some Aces games and he’s loved it. He’s loved it, and he’s really been a big like, I mean we go to dinner, we text like, he’s somebody that’s involved and in. He sees the vision. It’s been really special to have a friendship like that.”

White is the CEO and President of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) who shares a special bond with Kelsey Plum. Many times he has been spotted at the Aces games adding an intriguing twist to his passion for sports. Although, he is associated with the intense world of mixed martial arts, his presence on the hardwood sidelines increases excitement and curiosity among basketball enthusiasts.

Beyond the octagon cage, White is a huge admirer of athletes who overcome adversity. As a result, he draws inspiration from players like Plum, who battled her way back from an Achilles tendon tear injury and achieved outstanding feats in her WNBA career. Moreover, Dana resonates with Plum’s victorious return to the court, hence, strengthening the spirit of determination and resilience.

Kelsey Plum’s 1st wedding anniversary

March 4 2023, the date was saved for the two passionate athletes to say their vows. The merriment was uplifting as the Las Vegas power couple Kelsey Plum and Darren Waller shared their first kiss as man and wife.

She shared some pictures from her wedding on social media with the caption, “Him 3.4.23,” featuring photos of her smiling wide at Darrell in one of them as they made their wedding vows and the other one in which her engagement ring was peeking through the couple’s interlaced hands.

As reported by People’s magazine, the couple had applied for a marriage license in January 2023 and had been dating since 2022. Congratulations to the lovely couple on their first, with many more to come ahead.
