Though Clark has won both the previous games against Reese in the WNBA, she hasn’t been able to emerge victorious by blowout margins. On Sunday night, in the game against the Sky when Clark, who was the number 1 pick in the WNBA, gave a pass to Kelsey Mitchell, the latter couldn’t catch the ball. Hence it again brought the fact that except for Clark the Fever were one of the poorest playing teams in the past season.

Caitlin Clark added to her turnover tally very early in the game. No one can really blame her for it, though. Following Marina Mabrey’s missed three, Clark grabbed the rebound and quickly released the ball to Kelsey Mitchell, who had managed to get free on the fast break. However, Mitchell somehow missed the ball as it went out of bounds, giving the ball back to Chicago.

In another instance later in the game with Indiana down 39-41. Kamilla Cardoso tried to pass the ball to one of her teammates who was standing near Fever’s post. But Clark was diligent enough to quickly steal it. She then pushed the pace before passing the ball to Mitchell, who was in open space but unfortunately missed a layup. This again pointed out the fact that while Clark was giving her best, her teammates were letting her down.

“They are so bad bro,” one user commented. The fan was pointing out the fact that while Clark has been a great scorer for her team, she hasn’t had the support of her teammates. Therefore, despite her heroics, Clark has won 7 games and lost in 10. On the other hand, in the NCAA she had great support from her teammates due to which she led her team to two NCAA back-to-back Finals.

Therefore, this was sort of a gentle reminder that Clark’s teammates were not performing up to the mark.
