Recently, the Grammy-nominated fan had the opportunity to meet Rapinoe, and her to-be-wife, Sue Bird couldn’t be more ecstatic!

JP Saxe posted a series of pictures and videos on his Instagram handle, letting his fans know that he finally met Rapinoe. The slide included a video of Sue Bird, Rapinoe and JP Saxe sharing a group hug on the field. Saxe captioned the post, “humans and snacks and love and dreams.”

The trio looked like their happiest selves. Sue Bird put the love forward by sharing the post on her Instagram story. She wrote along with the post, “MRxJP(sandwich).” A dream come true for JP Saxe indeed!

Bird told People, “I think the one thing we do agree on is that we would love to have our wedding once things have settled down in terms of COVID-19 because we want to have a stress-free environment where we are not having to worry about testing and this and that, which is kind of the life that we are living now.”
