One of the star players to look forward to is Marina Mabrey. Mabrey has decimated an exceptional 16 points per game and tops the list with her exciting play. Other than that, she has nabbed an astounding 6.3 rebounds per contest. She is leading the pack for the Chicago Sky. Her best game till now has come against the Connecticut Sun when she battered a hefty 23 points in the game and proved her resilience in a heart-wrenching loss.

Other than Mabrey, the other player to keep an eye on is Reese. Not many have noticed but it isn’t only Indiana Fever which is recording high revenue. Rather, the Chicago Sky too has been earning blockbuster numbers, possibly due to the inclusion of Reese.

Reese averages 11.4 points per game with 9.2 rebounds per match and is an extremely lethal player to tackle against in the WNBA. With time she is inching closer to becoming the double-doubles queen. Plus, she would also be puffed up to show her balling prowess to the world and leave her arch-rival Caitlin Clark behind with her influence.

One of the balling stars to look forward to in the upcoming game from the Atlanta Dream’s side is Allisha Gray. Gray has been the alpha for her team, sousing 16.3 points per game with 3.4 rebounds per match. She has been exceptional in her offense and will try to deal with Sky with rough hands to win the match.

Another player to look forward to is the veteran Tina Charles. Charles has played the role of a steady center with ease and has rocked the opponent’s boat with 11.8 points per contest and 9.4 rebounds per match. Therefore, it will be interesting to see how she battles against Reese especially if she uses her rebounding skills to dent Reese’s plans.

Head to Head

The Chicago Sky and the Atlanta Dream have clashed against each other for a total of 65 times as per AiScore. The Sky has emerged victorious 39 times whereas the Dream has been triumphant 26 times. Therefore, it will be interesting to see which team wins the game at this crucial point, particularly because the game will be played at the home court arena for the Sky.

Prediction

The Sky has mostly tried to balance their defense and offense whereas looking at the alpha Allisha Gray it is clear that the Dream have been more dependent on their offensive side. One of the most important battles will take place between Reese and Charles since both are exceptionally good in the backcourt and also valuable in the offense.

One of the chief things that will decide the course of the match is Gray’s performance. Most likely considering the defensive aspects of the Sky (their main stars have a tally of 15.5 rebounds per contest which includes Reese, and Mabrey), Gray might falter and then the Dream will find it difficult to have an astute scorer in the game. Overall, the match might slip in favor of the Sky.

Injury Report

For the Sky, their star Elizabeth Williams is out due to a knee injury. She has been ruled out for Saturday as per the latest reports.

As per Rotowire, Meghan Hall has reported that Jordin Canada has been out due to an injury.
