Did Caitlin Clark's Halloween outfit reveal a hidden side of her personality we never knew?

The Holidays are here! And like anyone else, the WNBA fans are glad for the festive season as well. As we approach the Halloween season, looks like some are already warming up for the spooky parties. And courtesy of that, the basketball fans got to enjoy one of the most unexpected get-togethers on Saturday with Caitlin Clark at the focus of this one.

Caitlin Clark was seen dressed up in her shining black leather jacket and pants, potentially impersonating the Catwoman from the DC Universe, without a mask, accompanying Tyrese Haliburton’s girlfriend Jade Jones near the Indiana Pacers’ facility. While the No. 22 was all black for the night, Jones was completely the opposite. She dressed up as the year’s hottest singer Sabrina Carpenter in a tiny baby pink dress. Jones even carried a mic to complete the look with curtain bangs and knee-length white leather boots. The duo clicked a photo together that exposed Clark’s secret personality of being a party-loving person. Jones posted the picture on her Instagram stories and captioned it as “our two personalities.”

Jones also posted a carousel of her moments from the night and Clark looked pleased with her friend’s outfit as she commented “slayingggggg” on it. However, the timing of these events is not clear since Clark and Jones also attended the inaugural Gala night for the Indiana Pacers franchise which was organized at Commission Row, just next to Gainbridge on Saturday.

Clark had graced the event with her boyfriend Connor McCaffery and Jones too had posted her picture on her Instagram story where she was seen donning a brown dress alongside Haliburton. Hence, it is not sure if she went with Clark to the gala night to click these or if it was another Halloween event since she had captioned one of her still as “this is halloween.” Furthermore, one of her other friends was dressed as Christina Aguilera in another Instagram story.

The Des Moines native has also previously mentioned how she is very fond of, again, being competitive, during the Halloween trick-or-treating races where she would dress the most unique way and run through the neighborhood to get the best candies. During her exit interview for the Fever, she confessed, “I didn’t really care about the joke. I was too worried getting the full size candy bars and being the first to knock on the door. I know that is super surprising, but I was in a full sweat at trick or treat. I’d come home and I would have to go straight to the shower before I counted my candy because that’s all that matters, that I got first.”

Interestingly, the conversation began with how the WNBA ROTY can joke a lot. As it turns out, children earn their Halloween candies by sharing a joke in Des Moines and that’s how Clark too became one of the funniest members of the Indiana franchise. According to her, she once went as a clown and another time as a blue M&M which got her first place every year. “I got first every year. The amount of candy I had, I was first at the door, I had the best costume, I had the best joke. I dominated trick or treat,” she added.

While the new look for the Fever star may be a surprise, her friendship with Jones is not. In fact, CC, Jones, McCaffery, and Haliburton have formed a close bond.

Caitlin Clark and Tyrese Haliburton’s close bond

While Clark played for the Iowa Hawkeyes, Haliburton and Jones studied at Iowa State. Plus, everyone knows how McCaffery’s family is related to the Hawkeyes men’s basketball team. Then, as Clark went into the W, she was drafted by the Indiana Fever whereas Haliburton represents the NBA team: the Pacers. As for McCaffery, he was formerly a coaching assistant for the Pacers before taking up a job at the Buttler Bulldogs. Maybe it was their college proximity coupled with the professional network that helped them form a bond.

“I’ve grown to be pretty close with Caitlin and (Connor). Me, her, him and my girlfriend, Jade, all have a group chat that we talk in pretty often about everything. So it’s been cool to just grow my friendship with her,” Haliburton revealed recently. Both Haliburton and his girlfriend were seen cheering from the sidelines during the Fever games this season.

This has certainly helped Haliburton to understand Clark’s mindset, but he doesn’t impose himself on her career. “If she wants to talk basketball, we’ll talk basketball, and if not, I’m totally fine with that as well,” the 24-year-old further revealed.

Concluding his chat, Haliburton shared he has a “pretty cool friendship” and that is reflected when Clark is chilling with Jones, and commenting on her Instagram carousel. While she is now an adult and cannot exactly take part in that event, we know where she will be spending her Holidays after all.
