While she opined the Indiana Fever star may not be the sole narrative of the league, she admitted Clark was definitely the face of the WNBA. Now that seems to have sat well with the fans who can’t wait to see them team up.

Sabally’s excellent season paired with her many remarks commending Clark, has the Indiana Fever fans wanting the Forward to join the team. And it would have been left at that until the Dallas Wings star acknowledged the wishes with a ‘like’.

Averaging 17.9 points per game, Sabally has dominated this regular season. Despite missing the first half of the 2024 campaign due to a shoulder injury, she managed to shoot a remarkable 45.2% from three-point range in 15 games. But a day after the season came to an end, she revealed her excitement for the free agency.

“Yesterday, my sister [Nyara Sabally] won the WNBA championship… so there’s a lot of movement for me this offseason… [with] the decision to change teams. Yeah, so I’ll be a free agent this year, and I just feel like this is super exciting,” she had said on TikTok on Thursday.

So now if her recent social media activity is any indication, she wouldn’t mind having Indiana Fever as an option. As fans caught wind of this possibility, they couldn’t hold back their excitement.

As of now, the Indiana Fever’s biggest positional need is a perimeter player who can hit threes and generate her own offense. In addition, the team also needs a player capable of guarding multiple positions. Sabally checks all the boxes for the Fever, and with some experience that the team is looking for, she might be the right fit.
