Chicago knows how to love their athletes. However, they also do not take anyone lightly. As the Sky tries to take charge against A’ja Wilson and the 2x reigning champions, there is one piece of the puzzle that is not exactly the favorite for the viewers. Specifically, Angel Reese’s teammate Dana Evans. In her two games now, the 3-year veteran has only added 2 points in 19 minutes. Hence, with even the rookies giving double-digit performances, the fans cannot keep it in them any longer.

Tonight, Evans went 0 for 2 field goals and did not add much value to the group either. Instead, she had two turnovers, dipping the bar even lower for the Sky. She was also a negative twelve value on the floor, which clearly meant that Teresa Weatherspoon should get her out to the bench. Something exactly what the head coach did as Evans played her lowest minutes in the season tonight.

Overall, as well, the 25-year-old has had some unimpressive outings so far. In Sky’s last six games, she has had 3 games with only 7 points combined in 42 minutes total. She is currently adding 9.9 points and 3.7 assists per game on average.

Hence, fans came up to complain about the guard as A’ja Wilson put up yet another immaculate performance. The 27-year-old put up 31 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists to show the rookies her dominance. However, basketball followers could not ignore Evans’ failure in the loss against Las Vegas.

Fans wish to evict Dana Evans as Sky takes a fall against A’ja Wilson and Co.

Tonight was not the best day for Chicago. They made tough shots, and kept up with the Aces, but fell hard as the visitors got the better of them. Four of the starters tonight in the Sky’s roster had double figures which came up weak against Las Vegas. Still, Dana Evans’ subpar display caught the most rage. A Chicago follower came up with their crude thoughts as they said that this was another game where they did not like what the Louisville alum was doing.

“Dana Evans putting up a stinker (again)”

Another follower came up to point out how Dana Evans, who has an experience of three years now, is acting like a rookie, not sure about taking the shots. Probably, this was the A’ja Wilson effect that kept the players doubting their plays. Tonight, Evans only went for 2 shots and could not make any of them in six minutes of the game.

“Dana Evans needs to shoot the ball and stop hesitating. You are not a rookie.”

A Sky fan blamed the Las Vegas Aces for Evans’ poor performance. According to them, everyone on the visiting team was giving the veteran chills and not letting her play. In fact, they outright called them out for bullying her as they guarded the hooper hard.

Dana Evans gotta shoot the damn ball..y’all been bullying my girl now she’s scared to shoot.”

More Windy City fans gave the suggestion of getting Dana Evans out from the floor. Something that T-spoon did after only giving her a total of six minutes of floor time tonight. One fan clearly had their blood boiling as they shouted the text out with all capital letters. It is surprising to see that in all but one quarter, Chicago was quite close to the 2x WNBA champs, giving them a tough battle. Only in the second quarter did they lose track and got hit hard.

“GET DANA EVANS OUT OF THE GAME BRO”
