The Chicago Sky got one of the most crushing blows when they played against the Indiana Fever at Gainbridge. This was particularly humiliating for Angel Reese since she had clashed against her NCAA rival Caitlin Clark for the second time only for it to end in another defeat. However, what Reese did after the game was seen by many as being careless towards her responsibilities. 

During the after-hours, Reese was spotted with Kysre Gondrezick at Summer Smash after the game, which is a music festival that will go on for three days. It has a lot of premier Hip Hop music that enchants its followers into breaking loose into a dance. And Reese along with her Chicago Sky teammate was doing the same.

Reese had also received a flagrant foul 1 for shoving Clark while going for a block. She further picked a fight with the crowd by sending them kisses sarcastically when she was being booed. Hence, with her flamboyance and attitude, Reese looked to complete trying to dominate but alas failed to do so.

However, Clark’s fans did not let go of the opportunity to make fun of Reese.

Caitlin Clark’s fans take a jibe at Angel Reese

“Oh you celebrate after losing to Clark for the 3rd time in a row?,” one fan commented. The follower was pointing out the fact that Reese had previously lost to Clark in the NCAA in the Elite Eight. After coming into the WNBA, Reese again lost two games against Clark wearing the Sky jersey. The fan was taking a dig at Reese for her losses.

“Still play like trash and act like trash,” one follower slammed her. The user was referring to the fact that Reese despite her on-court antics lost to the Fever and couldn’t trump Clark. Hence, the netizen was degrading Reese for her behavior both on and off the court.

“…after losing to CLARK,” one user had commented. It had a GIF attached of Clark doing the John Cena’s ‘You can’t see me’ move. This was in reference to the Championship Finale in NCAA 2023 when Reese had done this move and defeated the Hawkeyes. This time it was the turn of the balling fan to give Reese a taste of her own medicine.

“at least apologize after the game to CC, show some class if you have any,” one fan enumerated. The Clark admirer must be pointing out that Reese had hit Clark on her head while trying to block a ball. Hence, as per the user, Reese should have apologized as she even got a flagrant foul 1 for her deeds. And, instead of being sorry, Reese called out the referees and blamed them for her loss.

“Love to see them unbothered by all this goofy shit online,” one Reese supporter came forward to state that even though Reese was being thrashed online for the game, the Maryland-born was enjoying life to the fullest.

Hopefully, Reese will recover from, the game and instead enjoy her life. And when she steps into the practice session, Reese will prepare harder to win her upcoming matches.
