While Team WNBA stunned the soon-to-be-departing Team USA 117-109, Pitbull’s halftime performance enthralled everyone in the arena. This was surely another feather in the cap of the internationally acclaimed artist.

Pitbull made a name for himself when he released his album M.I.A.M.I. in 2004. Before that, he was active but hadn’t got the attention he deserved. With M.I.A.M.I. reaching number 2 on the American Billboard Hot 100, he suddenly shot to national fame. The Cuban-American rapper has signed multiple endorsements throughout his career and is also an entrepreneur. Apart from that, he has also contributed to producing Latino music. The Miami-born rapper has also developed a peculiar style with his well-ironed suits, wing-tip shoes, and sunglasses, which he wears in most of his songs. Pitbull’s high-profile collaborations have benefitted him a lot and today, he stands as one of the most enterprising artists. 

Pitbull got into an agreement with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, co-founding the Bad Boy Latino in 2005. It is a subsidiary of the Bad Boy Records label, which was founded in 1993 by Diddy. But that’s not all. His music career has fetched him lucrative deals with Dr. Pepper, Kodak, and Voli Vodka. All this has helped him build this whopping net worth. The 43-year-old has also acknowledged the economic disparity between the people in the USA and has helped children with education plans so that the gap can be closed. He also materialized his idea of starting a public charter school where students from not-so-prolific backgrounds can study for free. The name of the school is Sports Leadership and Management in Little Havana.

The program has extensively helped residents of Las Vegas, Atlanta, and Miami. Hence, it has been expanding its roots ever since its establishment. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Pitbull came to the fore and performed in charity for the first responders in Times Square. This New Year’s Eve program benefited many people who will remember him for his contributions.

Naturally, Pitbull is the face of many brands and endorsements. He has amassed great wealth by promoting products from companies such as Bud Light, Kodak, and Dr. Pepper. He has also released his line of fragrances.

To further his reach among his audiences, Pitbull also launched Pitbull’s Globalization Radio in May 2015. It brings together flavors of different hip-hop stars and dance music from around the world. Given his multi-cultural image, he was roped in to make inroads for Boost Mobile in 2019 among Spanish communities. Pitbull ended up making a whopping $35 million between September 2017 and ’18 due to his various ventures. He therefore emerged as one of the highest-paid rappers in the world. He tried to repeat the feat in 2018 and 2019 but ended up earning only $18 million. Mr. 305 joined another sports venture by becoming a co-owner of the NASCAR Cup Series team, Trackhouse Racing.
