Kelsey Plum is basking in the championship glory at the moment. The Las Vegas Aces? star was part of the team that clinched their second crown after decimating the New York Liberty by a decent margin of 3-1. With this, the Aces joined the list of reputed teams such as the Houston Comets to repeat their victory heroics year after year.

Following their win, the Aces took part in a victory parade and received a rousing reception from the Vegas residents. At about the same time, Plum left the fans elated with her views.

Plum opened up on her team?s future plans during ‘The Pat McAfee Show’ on Monday. On being questioned, if the Aces would want to try going for the title once again after their latest exploit, Plum was quick to candidly mention her resolve: ?Everybody is coming back. You know AJ? I mean as a competitor like? why you play? You play to win. No, to be honest I am going to enjoy this moment. I know how hard this is to do. But yeah when we start training again and going after it? Like I said we got some hungry hippos, so? We?ll be excited to make another room for it for sure.?

Kelsey Plum proved her mettle against the Minnesota Lynx by recording a season-high 40 points during their blowout victory in the Commissioner Cup?s Finals as per ESPN. The contest played at the Target Center Minneapolis saw Plum go all guns blazing as the Lynx were defeated by a margin of 113-89. She also helped her team with four assists during the decisive Finale.

In addition to her outstanding performance during the regular season, the 29-year-old was also proactive during the playoffs. While her astounding performance of 26 points during Game 1 against the New York Liberty gave a positive start to their Finals journey, her 29 points in a losing cause during Game 3 helped save grace for her team. For her whopping contributions, Plum was inducted in the WNBA All-Star team in 2023. But how is she related to the NBA legends Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant?

Plum initiated the victory parade of the back-to-back WNBA Champions with the cigar while captain A?ja Wilson was the keeper of the trophy on Monday.

Wilson turned all eyes as she also wore the MVP voting tally that saw her finishing behind the Liberty?s Breanna Stewart and runner-up – the Connecticut Sun?s Alyssa Thomas.
