The NCAA’s all-time leading scorer Caitlin Clark is still trying to fit into the WNBA. However, in the Indiana Fever’s last game against the LA Sparks, looked like she had found her rhythm. Despite the loss, the rookie was able to grab a whopping 30 points in the outing. And with that, she gained attention from the fans and brands. Another duo that has been gaining traction is the Cavinder twins. Hanna and Haley Cavinder are back in action with Miami and also on the off-court activities. But before they stepped on the floor together for one last time, they had a few words to add on how the Caitlin Clark effect is good news to all.

Haley and Hanna Cavinder shared a few pennies over women’s sports’ growth during their recent appearance on a podcast. “Caitlin Clark has done so much for the game. I’m a huge fan of her. I think being able to do what she has done at her level and maintain her success with all the hate she does bring is inspiring to all the younger generations, to ourselves,” Haley Cavinder said while commenting on Caitlin Clark garnering hate despite good effects on the economy.

Talking to the Crain brothers on the ‘Crain & Company’ podcast, she confessed that she was interested to know the reason too. She questioned, “The money that she generates, the viewership she brings as an individual, that’s such a high note for all women’s NBA players. Because now, your league is getting noticed. More than it’s ever had. Because of one person. So, why not uplift her?”

The No. 14 on the Hurricanes’ roster also felt inspired by how much Caitlin Clark has changed women’s basketball. In fact, she confessed to watching the WNBA more now than before. Speaking on the discussion, she said, “A player with her spotlight and her attention coming into a league and being able to draw so much eyes on it, I think it’s a win for all women. It can provide opportunities down the road that probably weren’t gonna be there beforehand.”

Apart from praising the NCAA’s all-time leading scorer, Hanna also praised Angel Reese, Cameron Brink, and other rookies for their contributions. Adamant at getting the message through, the Cavinder sisters ensured to ask the WNBA players a question. That is, “If it’s a win for women, I don’t know why you would knock it?”
