Caitlin Clark has reached the zenith of success in her NCAA career. In a recent interview with Rebbeca Lobo, she discussed what it is like to live with an older brother. She shared snippets of her memory lane about the conversations with her brother and their way of motivating her to cheer up. Clark climbed to historic fame in last year’s NCAA finals, where she swept every single possible record for an individual. She led the Iowa Hawkeyes to their first trip to the Finals, but unfortunately, she lost it to Angel Rese’s LSU.

Due to age guidelines in the WNBA, she couldn’t be drafted into the league last time. But Caitlin Clark is highly anticipated to win her first NCAA championship with Iowa. Also, she is the first draft pick in the mock draft likely to be traded by Indiana Fever. But things are uncertain until the season is over.

Caitlin Clark met Rebecca Lobo for an interview. Clark opened up about her relationship with her brothers and how they used to motivate her. Rebbeca posted a snippet of her conversation and connected it to Clark’s feelings about having an older brother and how he motivates her. Caitlin Clark’s last NCAA season was indeed successful personally, yet she suffered a setback in an earlier season. And her older brother Blake used to send her poor performance stats to intimidate her. But deep down, they both know it is meant to motivate her.

“Took the pictures of the scoreboard and stats and continuously sent them to me; I mean, it is an older brother thing to do.” Clark also added that though the intention was to make her mad, both of them knew that it’d hype her up, and she’d start working to fix that up. She also adds that both of her brothers used to keep picking on her, but that is the way they share love and motivation.

Caitlin Clark’s siblings

Caitlin Clark, star of the Iowa Hawkeyes, comes from a family of athletes. Her older brother Blake was a talented quarterback for the Iowa State Cyclones, leading his team to three consecutive state titles while attending Dowling Catholic High School.

Meanwhile, Caitlin’s younger brother Colin also excels in basketball and plays on the varsity squad at Dowling Catholic High School as well. Colin recently completed his high school education at Dowling in February 2023.
