There cannot be a grander spectate than what the audience at the Michelob ULTRA Arena witnessed today. It was a double win for the Aces as guard A’ja Wilson carried the team to an 84-71 win while she accomplished a career feat of scoring 1000 points and became the first player to reach the milestone in a single season. It was just 2 minutes led in the game when Wilson hit a pull-up to reach the 1000-point mark. Just then, her teammates called a 30-second timeout and mobbed around Wilson to celebrate her big moment. She acknowledged the fans clapping her hands with tears of happiness in her eyes.

Talking about the big moment, Miami Heat star Bam Adebayo took his celebration to X, resonating his words with Wilson’s 1000-point career mark.  “Hope everybody finds A’thousand reasons to smile on this lovely Sunday,” he wrote. The joy in his message was apparent as the Aces guard achieved an unprecedented milestone in her WNBA journey.

Right after his tweet, A’ja Wilson dropped a meme, responding with a rather blushing vibe.

While that happened, it gave the fans something to build on the romantic spark speculated between the two after they were spotted walking in downtown Indianapolis on Thursday.

However, this isn’t the first time these two have exchanged words over social media and in person.

Are A’ja Wilson and Bam Adebayo cooking something?

It has been quite a while since A’ja Wilson and Bam Adebayo has been in the public eye with their fans rooting them to get together, seeing their light and humorous give and take on social media. What gave it away to the fans was Adebayo’s “U’nanimous” tweet after Wilson surpassed Jewll Loyd’s record for most points.

The compliment was hence translated that the Miami Heat center is rooting Wilson for this year’s MVP honor. The first time the two were seen together was at the Team USA’s Olympics training camp in Las Vegas. While the buzz caught fire when Wilson was addressed Adebayo’s guest when he received the key to the city from the Miami-Dade mayor.

Another time they were spotted together was in Paris when they were walking out from a store and got off in a car, raising speculations despite being a normal moment of their day-to-day.

The rumors of them getting along are rising, but neither Wilson nor Adebayo have made any confirmations about the matter. Meanwhile they can said to be good friends at best currently until further clarifications, if there any, are made.
