A few months back, 2-time WNBA All-Star Sabrina Ionescu launched her first signature apparel and shoe collection in collaboration with Nike. This launch made Sabrina the first women’s basketball player to create and deliver a unisex signature collection with the brand. However, sometime before signing off on the shoe deal, Sabrina was smitten by a famous luxury brand worth billions.
Sabrina is one of the youngest players and best talents the WNBA has ever seen. She is the only NCAA Division I basketball player to have recorded 2,000 points, 1,000 assists, and 1,000 rebounds in a career. Sabrina has made significant strides in her career on both on-court and off-court.

In a resurfaced YouTube video, the New York Liberty‘s guard Sabrina Ionescu can be seen unraveling a few essential things she cannot live without. The brand is worth $347.94 billion.
The video was shot a few months before she signed the signature collection deal with Nike. Her enthusiasm and joy can be seen while Sabrina elaborates on the Nike GT Cut PE sneakers that she designed. “I think these were the first player-exclusive shoe that I was able to design and so, these are probably one of my favorites just because they are all my favorite colors,” Ionescu describes the design and style.
“Playing in them, they are really comfortable and just to be able to cut, move, jump. They are really low to the ground and as a basketball player they just help me do everything I need to do on the court and are really comfortable,”?she shares her reviews about the performance of the shoes on the court.
One could easily tell her designer instincts.
